The client

Malibra is a streaming platform that features stories and training videos of world renowned combat sport athletes. I created the concept and design of the site to be a destination for martial art enthusiasts and practitioners.

The challenge

The photo and video production for the platform had to be conducted within a very short timeline over the course of 3 weeks in 2 countries and 3 states. Because of the tight deadline, I had to ensure that all of the equipment was prepped and that the talent was ready ahead of time in order to avoid any delays on scheduled shoot day.

The approach

I tasked my production coordinator with the scheduling of all travel arrangements while I worked directly with the talent to select locations and logistics. On the day of the shoots, I was able to produce a variety of photo and video content because of the careful art direction and project planning I had conducted.
