ABOUT THE PROJECT

Allister is an eyewear brand that creates fashion-forward eyewear. They are based in South America and needed an e-commerce destination where customers could shop & learn about the brand.

The challenge

When the brand was first created, the client didn't have a clear plan as to who they would be marketing the product to. The client wanted to know how they could improve their online sales, as their main sales channel was their e-commerce site. After their first year, their sales were very low. In addition, they hadn't built any brand awareness in their country, and their price point was higher than their competition. 

The approach

After researching domestic brands, markets, income-levels, & age groups, I suggested that the client also manufacture a more affordable line that would focus on a younger, mid-income audience. For this we created 2 separate collection lines (Generation-A & Luxe). The first line would appeal to a younger audience more prone to shopping online. The other line would target a high-end,  older consumer. I proposed a web re-design & new photography that would highlight both of these lines.
